Kubo is believed to be about 3 years old, and for a while, he survived by relying on the kindness of strangers. A neighbor had been feeding him, noticing how friendly and gentle he was. Unlike feral cats, Kubo would walk right up to people, rubbing against their legs and begging for food—clearly showing that he once belonged to someone and trusted humans deeply.

One day, a good Samaritan brought Kubo to a vet clinic, worried about his safety. In the neighborhood where he was found, coyotes roam regularly, and leaving such a sweet, trusting cat outside would have been a death sentence. It was obvious Kubo wasn’t meant to live on the streets—he was meant to be loved.

Despite being abandoned, Kubo never lost his affectionate spirit. He is incredibly friendly, sweet, and loving. He seeks out human attention, enjoys companionship, and makes it known when he wants affection or a meal. His gentle nature and warm personality make him the kind of cat who wants to be part of a family again.

Kubo is now safe, but what he truly needs is a forever home—one where he will never have to beg for food or worry about danger again. He deserves a soft bed, a full bowl, and someone who will cherish him the way he cherishes people.
